Timberland Earthkeepers Review: Good Looking and Ultra Durable Leather Shoe

Posted by

Even for someone who prefers comfort and practicality, you still need to have at least a pair of walking boots ready in your closet. Well, sneakers are cool and fancy and comfortable, but they are not exactly odor proof or sweat proof. Those are some disadvantages that you certainly want to avoid when you are going for going out with your significant others and travels. That is why you should consider getting yourself a pair of Timberland Earthkeepers. Besides offering great comfort and the features of leather uppers, Timberland Earthkeepers is also very environment-friendly. It is made from recycled materials. Even so, it does not compromise any bit of quality!

Timberland Earthkeepers Review

Timberland Earthkeepers appears very cool and neat. It is for sure a very good-looking shoe. The premium leather material is very pronounced, with precise and fine stitches, long tongue, and lace-up design. It is available in three color variants: Tobacco Forty, Medium Brown Full-Grain, and Mulch Forty. You can see the Timberland logo carved on top of the tongue, just above where the lacing ends.

Try wearing the boots for some time and you will fall in love with the feel. It is very comfortable and pleasant to wear. The anti-fatigue footbed is absolutely loveable. The footbed makes as if you are walking on a soft yet well-stuffed pillow. With every step, the footbed bounces back up, encouraging you to walk on. And even better, the footbed is removable and replaceable, allowing you to replace once the layer has worn out. That is, if the layer actually wears out. The sole is also pretty thick, able to keep you from feeling the branches and stones on the road. But it is not heavy. It is also quite flexible, providing enough support on an unsteady terrain.

- Rubber sole - Shaft measures approximately 7" from arch - Lace-up boot in full-grain leather featuring removable anti-fatigue footbed and organic-cotton lacesr

The upper is made from a premium full-grain leather material. It is very rugged and durable. It can prevent water and mud from going inside, and it resists them very well. If you just let the it dry a little bit, then it will be very easy to be cleaned off afterward. As we mentioned before, the lining is made from recycled PET, and part of the rubber lug outsole is also of recycled material. But Timberland Earthkeepers is surprisingly very rugged and durable. The laces are made from organic cotton. Be careful, though, as the heel area is not very flexible and pretty harsh. It can cause blisters on the back of your feet. Blisters often happen with new shoes, though, and there are many tricks to prevent the problem. One easy trick is by using thicker socks to protect your heels.
